No further discount for the brother labelling machine at Bookfest. The price is already the offer price.

The sales staff told me no further discount for the machine.

I din buy the tapes, but saw the normal ones going for $14+, which the price tag already indicated its a discounted price. no sure if there’s further discount for it with popular card.

I'm so mad I didn't see the Brother counter...wanted to get tape.
Mine is the basic model...touchwood, it has served me well. It's easy to use...4 AA batteries, but have to use Energizer.

Trolley bag is a good option and gentler to the back only if one is traveling on leveled ground. Once confronted with staircases or "unlevelled" ground (e.g school field) it is actually quite daunting.

I would propose you do a "terrain" survey and weigh the pros and cons.

My Dd’s school does not allow trolley bag. My Dd was once reprimanded by the disciplinary mistress for bringing trolley bag. She claimed that it was the school policy and my Dd was really upset.

                      Hey buds,
I didn't want to 'kill' it with strong batteries...was thinking such a small machine shouldn't have to use Energizer right...how would I to know the Ikea ones cannot last at all. After 1 or 2 times, battery went FLAT :faint:

They have many versions of this portable or handheld labelling machines. I also saw another
brand called Dymo which looks pretty handy cos smaller like nets payment tool liddat but
cannot comment on it as i've never used it before. Happy with my BROTHER. πŸ˜‚
I am using Dymo. So far so good... one year already. πŸ˜„
