Actually twinning class is made up of students selected by MOE based on their round 2 GEP test results, ie, not all students who go through to round 2 will be selected. These students are placed together with the GEP classes where they take GEP Chinese, Social Studies and all other non-examinable subjects together with the GEPpers. They are only separated from the GEPpers for Maths, English and Science lessons. Their class size is small - max 25, and they benefit from the teaching pedagogy of the GEP curriculum.

There may be some changes in the twinning class next year, According to NH principal, twinning class may not be doing the same Social studies as GEP. This is yet to be confirm

Yes, the principal has said this 2 years ago too as a lot of parents complain about the heavy project work of Social Studies..[/quote]Does it mean MOE publish the GEP second run result to school?

I believe the school only receive a list of names from MOE to be offered the twinning program.

After the 2nd round test, MOE will notify via the schools those who make it to GEP. Thereafter, MOE will finally give a list of those students who qualify for twinning program to the school. That's what I understand. As far as I know, only Nan Hua and Nanyang has this twinning program.

                    Hi parents,

my son is born in 2007. i am planning to shift to clementi and within 1km to nan hua. i have some questions as follow:

                    1. when does the PV registration start for nan hua?
                    2. What is the PV acceptance rate?
                    3. What is the P2B balloting acceptance rate?

just trying to access the risk as clementi does not have much alternative if i dun get into the school n P2B. only qifa.

any comments will be good. thanks

I know it's quite tough to get accepted as PV in Nan Hua and even if you do, there is balloting for PVs too. I don't have figures though, my info are all anecdotal.

I think the PV registration for 2007 is close... Correct me if im wrong
You may want to go to the website and check...
For NHPS, you have to be professional in some industry to be accept by them.
As for the balloting P2B this year is within 1km if im not wrong...
