How many CCA must pupil take in the school?
One only, as far as I know. That already takes up quite alot of time.
Seem the time table is very pack, with CCA, where got time to attend third foreign language. Sure crash with some activties. Class end at 2.20pm, still need to rush to MOELC for language.
Wonder what is the percentage of pupil taking third language in the schooL -
Is 254 good enough to qualify for St Nicks Secondary, non affliated? Any advice?

I would say definitely, that was my niece's PSLE score when she was accepted by SNGS 2 years ago. -

Submitted S1 form online with SGNS first choice, DD also not taking third language.
DD do not want Cedar because of the traveling time to the school. It is her choice and we respect her decision. -
Kingal:
How did your DD do for her PSLE? We put St Nicks as 1st choice as well. Very kiasu, already email teh school to find out about appeal process in case she doesn't get in.Submitted S1 form online with SGNS first choice, DD also not taking third language.

DD got 254+2. She can choose other schools but traveling time coming first for long term.

The AMK location is not as convenient as the current holding school site now at Toa Payoh. No MRT station within walking distance. But there is a bus stop right outside the gates.

Staying in YS. Dd can take mrt then bus 265 from AMK interchange. Agree that the current location is convenient, but AMK is nearer to home.

this year Total how many Sec 1 classes ?
out of these - how many classes are allocated for affliated P6 students, how many for outsiders joining in ?
do they place (affliates + outsiders) together in the same Sec 1 class, or they separate them out into different class ?
how is workload - heavy going ? typical day stay until what time then can go home ?
can pupil just take only 1 CCA, or must take more than 1 (say, one from uniform group, another from dance) ?
