How did your DD do for her PSLE? We put St Nicks as 1st choice as well. Very kiasu, already email teh school to find out about appeal process in case she doesn't get in.

DD got 254+2. She can choose other schools but traveling time coming first for long term.

The AMK location is not as convenient as the current holding school site now at Toa Payoh. No MRT station within walking distance. But there is a bus stop right outside the gates.

Staying in YS. Dd can take mrt then bus 265 from AMK interchange. Agree that the current location is convenient, but AMK is nearer to home.

do they place (affliates + outsiders) together in the same Sec 1 class, or they separate them out into different class ?

how is workload - heavy going ? typical day stay until what time then can go home ?

can pupil just take only 1 CCA, or must take more than 1 (say, one from uniform group, another from dance) ?

at Upper Sec 3 /4, out of 3 pure Science subjects (Physics, Chem, Bio) - which is the subject that St Nick often won competition in or strong in, amongest inter Secondary schools competition for Science?

based on past 2 yrs, there are 10 classes of sec 1
abt 120 seats are allocated to affiated P6 gals,
yes, they mixed aff n non aff together, those who are in the top 10% are place under the 2 stretch classes
only 1 cca is required

Anyone knows what is the mean score of L1R5 for St Nic this year? School never discloses any of such info. Wonder why…?

St Nick L1R5 is around 10.5 or less,ranked a Value-Added BAND 1 school.

Most schools dont upload their L1R5 in web site.You can refer to it’s web site under ‘Academics Achievements’.
