Got the letter, my DD is in P1.6. Will be there on19Nov

My daughter is in 1.2, with a friend’s daughter as well. Just went to Bibi and Baba to buy her uniform and PE attire. Ordered her books online (w/ free delivery) as well so that we don’t have to carry everything back on 19 Nov.

Ok, done with the orientation and now to choose a CCA or two. I was thinking of letting her take up tennis or netball, but she’s never played either before, and her ball sense, errr…is a little off and I know of kids who have been playing tennis since they were 3 or 4 and they can keep the ball down better than I can.Will dd be "kicked" out of the CCA if she’s "not up to the mark" ?

My plan for signing her up for a uniformed group got scuttled cos they only take Brownies at P3 and GB at P2.

Same here, thinking of sending her for tennis too. But I think if I send her for them, she will be hitting 'air' rather than the balls which will not be enjoyable for her and defeats the purpose.

Any idea if the girls are supposed to wear proper school uniform for the first few days or PE attire?

We ordered the school socks from Pacific bookstore but even the "S" size is huge. Where else can I get smaller ones? Bibi and Baba? Thanks in advance for your help.

Can the girls wear any sweaters or does MGS have restrictions on the colours or has its own?

MGS has it's own sweater which cost about $28, however girls can wear their own sweater as long as it is plain Black, Navy Blue or white colour.
