Just went for JMC trial lesson with DD and she likes it. But I find that having 10 kids in the same classroom has alot of distractions as not all kids are attentive. Some run around or press the keyboard even when teacher is talking...not sure if shld sign DD for group lesson or one-on-one?

Any parents here whose kids are going thru JMC can advise pls? :thankyou:

DD is going to complete first term of JMC.. she loves it .. yes, in her class there is one or two kids that cant seem to cooperate even the parent r not able to control.. but the teacher is strict and that helps to progress the class..

and many of times, especially in Dec only 5 or 6 students attendign the rest all go holiday.. my DD class only have 9 students in total..

i feel JMC can help to create interest as they learn in group, if 1to 1 it'll be quite stressful for the child..if u get what i mean

i thk they have to cover certain topics and notes in each term as they will have performance in week 20 or 22.. i cannot recall off hand.. yes, DD is picking up pretty well. she can sings all the songs taught in class (partly cos i always practise with her at home) and the fun way in JMC, they pick up the notes. and all very easily.. i really thk it is a very good course for 4 yo.. stressless.. fun and they pick all the essential.
