        YumYum:

Can anyone provide some guidance on what a revision time-table for 2012 PSLE preparation may look like?

Apologies if this was posted before or if this is not the right place to post this.

        Thanks
Have to wait for school time-table to be out before you can plan anything...what I do know is Tue/Thur are for suppl lessons...my son's CL and Math tutors have confirmed timing on Sat. Other than that, I can't plan yet.

        Mon...for eg dismiss at 130pm, bath/lunch 2pm, homework at 245pm. Nap 345pm, wake up 430pm, finish up school hw/Eng assessment, dinner at 7pm, rest, 8pm Math/CL/Science.

Just a guide of what I've prepareed before:

Jan - Mar: Learn new topics + revision of P5 topics + work at weak areas
Apr - May: Preparation for SA1
Jun: Revision of P6 topics + intensive work at weak areas + preparation for Prelims
Jul - Aug: Preparation of Oral + preparation for Prelims
Sep: Preparation for Listening Compre + preparation for PSLE paper

Work out the details of what topics / sections you want covered within each weekly / fortnightly period. In between these, you have to slot in any competitions, DSA, etc.

          Hope this helps

            Dear PSLE 2011 mum,

Thank you for sharing so very much!! What you shared is much much more than what I got out of the school for the entire P5!

By the way, I think we’ve met - I attended one of the compo sessions that you organised. You’re such a super mum and as a fellow FTWM I really salute you for juggling career and kids!!

                Hi Peony

Yes, we may well have met at one of those workshops I organised.

I am really relieved that those desperate days are over - the early workshops were a challenge to put together with me being so inexperienced, but parents were so patient as they tagged along with me and I made so many friends through those workshops.

I am just an ordinary parent like so many of you in this forum, so really, no supermum at all.

All the best to you and your DC in the year ahead.

You are the bows from which your children, as living arrows, are sent forth.

                  Asking for my colleague.

Any mom / dad know where can we get those PSLE past year series (5 or 10 years series) exam paper? She can't seem to find it at popular.

Wait a while longer...understand 2011 (ie this year) should be out in Popular by end Dec. It should be 2007-2011 (new edition).

                  Hi,

ANyone know is the Popular selling the book now?

                  TIA

TIA[/quote]If your child is P6 next year, you may want to wait because most schools will order for them early next yr for use in class. They are the same as those sold in Popular except without answers.

No worries...it will be a struggle next year swimming upstream.
We sure need lots of encouragement, adrenaline, chocolate, sleep to tide through. In the meantime,
MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY 2012. :rahrah:
