      Blur Dad:

Hi, just came back from ACS(I) reporting

Tscore 255 will be posted to IP program. Below 255 will be posted O level. No appeal allow.

Informaiton for those who report tomorrow. In summary, the reporting process is very fast and smooth. Quite impressive.

1)\tNo speech or talk. Just given a starter kid. The admin told us that everything you need to know is inside the kid. E.g. orientation program, school fee, Giro Form, text book list etc..

How come you did reporting yesterday?

Some more they gave you a \"starter kid\", and everything you need to know is inside the kid? Need to feed this kid or not? :scared:

All ACS(P) and ACS(J) students admitted to ACS(I) are given some special treatment. They can report one day earlier. No need to squeeze with the rest.

      Sorry, not \"Starter kid\" :rotflmao:
      Should be \"Starter kit\"

      The starter kit is free.

In summary, every information you need to know about administration to year 1 is in the starter kit. By reading the information, DS will roughly know what do to and what to prepare on the first week of school.

At first I still wonder why no welcome speech from the P, briefing, talks or something. After gone through the administration process. I guess it is not necessary. The briefing, talk, meet the teachers, meet the parents only comes after the Discovery Camp. I guess it is more effective and meaningful.

Quite impressive with the process and how it was organize. Hope my DS has chosen the right school

      Cheers

So have any of the students with COs who are appealing to other schools heard from their school of appeal? Has any school blinked and defied the MOE directive? Please do let us know.

The meet the parents session is especially useful as you get to sit with parents of your DS's class and know the parents of your your DS classmates. Last year, we even exchange phone numbers and stayed in contact to discuss progress etc etc..
