Hi just like to find out roughly how much does it cost for a meal and a drink at the school canteen ?

Depends on what you eat actually
But a decent meal of a plate of chicken rice cost $2 and a medium sized drink is $0.80.

A treat of 7\" Pizza ($5) and bubble tea ($1.50) will cost more.

Boys can choose to eat at the pool cafe too, alfresco style. haha.

I don't really think ACSI is doing well. Their COP has dropped by a drastic 5 in one year. All my friends that wanted to go to ACSI originally now run to other schools like River Valley. Anyone knows why is that so?

ACSI COP dropped to 253 in 2010 due to Scandal with the Ex Principal ( Old Raffles Boy) but has since increased to 255 this year. Both Sons of PM Lee HL are Old Boys of ACSI and Dr. Tony T grandson starts Year 1 in 2012 in ACSI IP.

Um? U might wanna take a look at the green booklet given out.

The COP for students admitting into ACSI O Levels in 2011 is 245. Increased to 255? I think you are getting it wrong :whut:

I suppose that means these schools are the cream of the crop picked by presidents and parliaments.

U know la... How Kiasu are Singaporeans.

Presidents choose = WAH GOOD AH = Everybody rush to that school
          :yikes: :celebrate:

Why don't you ask your friends that question and tell us? Ask them why they changed their minds and decided to go to River Valley? I'm curious too.

COP do not make or break a school. Its the students, the teachers and the programmes the school has.

I don't really know. They said the COP dropped by 5 and that many rich people like 大少爷 go there and there will be financial supremacism.

What's more, they heard that the mathematics equipment there are really expensive 😓

What I can see with my own eyes is more and more RV students are pairing up and roaming Jurong Point everyday.
One of the reason for them to join RV ?

Just to check, has the Year 1 class list publish on ACS(I) web site?

                  I can’t find it.

                  Thank you

                  Cheers

Dun think so, cuz it should most likely be in the 'Announcements' section and I don't see any new entries yet.
