Yes, need to button up the first button when putting on the tie.
No need, when not putting on the tie.

Yes, need to tuck in the white blouse.

No need to tuck in PE attire.

Yr 1 pupils, are u ready for the sch orientation ??...... 😄
it gotta to be fun and exciting, esp the last nite.... :imcool:
(btw, is there any changes for the last nite prog?
i mean is it ending at 10-11 p.m whereby pupils will go home with their parents who will be attending the sch briefing session).
      Thanks Augmum. 😄

Thursday end at 6:30 pm - have CCA briefing that day.
Friday end at 8:30 pm - parents nite ends at that time as well.
There is some finger food for parents on Friday. Dinner is provided for the kids.
I better eat something before I go or I will be starving by then.
Wow during your time it ended at 11pm? That's really late and tiring.

Actually, I'm excited that being in Dhs means my DS will be amongst the very excellent students those with 27x... If he were to make it to his dream mountain he will probably be amongst the slacker like himself. Hopefully by mixing with these highly motivated students, he will wake up and stop being lazy...

so is yr ds in 1K or 1L ?? (wonder is there any changes next yr)
oh....one cant afford to be a slacker in this sch...... 😉
as even in the 2 SBGE classes, there were a few of them being downgraded to \"O\" lvl class this yr.
this yr, the No. of \"O pupils\" hit the highest.......

        Hi augmum,

Looks like it is still the same, my DS is in 1k.
How do u know if they were from gep or they are the 27x top scorer???

            Hi

How do the school allocate students to their respective classes? Is it by random? I understand 1K and 1L are the 2 GE classes. My dd has 2 friends whose scores are lower than hers but being placed in 1K.

              Hi all,

Do the Sec 1 Students bring a sch bag or a small bag during the orientation week?
              Thanks.

Thanks carebear for updating the orientation programme...... 😄
ya, for my gal batch, the last nite of the orientation ended quite late, but they started late too at 1-2 p.m.
Dont think they were tired lah...saw them still fresh and energetic.
For the last nite, after the pupils had taken their dinner, they were at the hall watching concert.
Any tiredness could be caused by their constant cheering and screaming....haha

Parents, pl continue to update this thread with regards to yr ds/dd orientation days.
