Anyway, my dd is very excited about the following activities on the next few days. Though she boarded the wrong bus and lost her way to her classroom, she’s still happy and excited about the Amazing Race on Wednesday, the small class party on Thursday and the Forest Adventure on Friday. Quite a lot of activities, and not one week has passed!

Saw the traffic this morning...OMG! Tot DS last sch was bad...this is worse! :faint: but still orderly n parents r being pretty much patient... Is it just first day or the same everyday? The traffic was heavy all the way fr my place at upper Bukit Timah at 6:40.. I think better leave 10 mins earlier n see how... I have to salute those coming fr further away!

Wat a waste this morning! Tot rain is coming n cancelled the sch wide assembly ... Rain never come lor.. But I guess better be safe than sorry with so many kids...

Welcome to Nanyang family!

Traffic is normally this way for first couple of days & when it rains (other times). Once the kids (and parents) settle down to a routine, the traffic should be better. I normally leave my house in Bishan at 6:30. Reach around 6:45 +/-. If I leave around 6:45, end up at school around 7:10/7:15!! and a panicky kid in the back seat (worried that he is late) :faint:

Instead of just 1 panicky kid...there will be another super panicky mum who will freak out too for being late for work after dropping Ds..

Actually when I interrogated him again...he said he didn't see the big bag of snack in his small bag now he worried abt the games on Thursday cos teacher gave him the consent forms which he left it under his desk instead of just turning ard and put them inside his bag...

A consent form was given for the Forest Adventure. The 3Rs will be going tomorrow. Do check with your dd. Today is Amazing Race. This week is so fun!

I believe the Forest Adventure & Amazing Race are part of the orientation program for the GEP & META classes. CHI having class party tmrw & going Forest on Friday. Yes, this week is a FUN week for them. Next week they have CNY cookies demo on Friday.
