Will the sec 1 boys be having a full day of studies on tuesday? Which school books to bring?

I think on Monday when we are separated from our orientation groups into our classes, the teachers will give us the timetable at the same time, you can see what books to pack every day.

Tomorrow will be an exciting day for everyone at CHS.. the Principal, the teachers, the students, the parents.. as GCE O Levels results will be released tomorrow! Even we parents of CHS Pri are nervous & excited too!!!

Wishing CHS All The Best in her 2011 GCE O Levels results, and hope CHS will produce many 壮元，like she did in 2008 GCE O Levels!!!

Don't' know what they'll have on Tuesday. I think they'd brief them tomorrow since tomorrow seems to be a full morning of briefing/profile/admin. Ends at 1.40pm tomorrow. Before the O-level results, lah!

For class allocation, does anyone know if the school do it like e.g. pure HCL class and pure CL class or do they mix the students according to their PSLE subject strength?

It's still unsure. Just wait for tmr la. Cause we all dk how the classes will be allocated.

Few yrs back, the class allocation was based on english test, sport class n psle t-score.


During the orientation, can vividly recalled an occassion when a student leader, Joshua Goh, (2010 President cum Safos scholar), was leading my ds’ grp in Burst camp. He cracked some men’s jokes and many boys laughed. All those who laughed including my ds was given push up.

Also during the first few days, every boy had to take a voice test for school choir.

Still waiting for a cohort to beat the L1R5 below 9.

It's still unsure. Just wait for tmr la. Cause we all dk how the classes will be allocated.

In my year, there sure are classes purely with students taking CL only and others, like my class, with only one CL student. As such, this seems to be quite a grey area and I can't quite make out the fine line.
