Does anyone know if the chinese special program or malay special program successful applicants have been notified?

DS told me that RI has arranged for transportation to bring the Year 1s to MOELC n back to RI tmrw. Hmm … Quite impressed! Boys were also informed to take heavy lunch as there will not be any dinner. Third Lang classes will end at 5 tmrw for the investiture ceremony.

Yes, my ds said that too. But I find it's not very good for their digestive health, don't u think? -

Agree not too good for digestive purpose, esp for ppl w gastric like my DS. But looks like they'll have to get used to soon n once CCA kicks in, it may be worse. -
anyone knows normally what time do the canteen stalls close every day?

Any parents attending the CCA Trail this afternoon? Most probably, i wont be attending, as i need to be at DS2’s school this afternoon too (is it ok for parents not to attend?).Will let DS1 decide for himself which CCA to take up. Heard from DS1 that they have to list 9 core CCAs (4 Sports, 3 Musicals, 2 Uniform Groups) on the CCA form, in order of preference.

DS just called during break to say his maths and english teachers (first subjects before break) were awesome…best teachers ever, very interesting. V. relieved he likes them.

But yesterday he was told no time to eat. but when i checked his schedule (orientation booklet), actually there's some time after the trail. Maybe the teacher was referring to those with 3rd lang when he/she said no time to eat. Hope he'll have the sense to eat something when he can.

Yes, I agree with you - when CCA kicks in, the boys will be alot busier. Yesterday, he told me he didnt eat lunch because the queues were all so long. I told him to go to the sandwich machines to buy - I hope RI keeps track of the expiry though. -

The boys have to report by 530 to their PSLs, n report to e hall by 615. Maybe that's why he told u no time to eat.
