      Hi everyone,

DS is in P4 this yr.
i just read some of the thread,i think most singaporean kids are going thru the same issue.

      DS’s school timing is very long (7.30am - 1.45pm) .

Every tuesday(staring next week) - extra Math lesson
every wed (started this week) - CCA
every thur (on going) - swmming lesson (pte)
i will need to put him in creative wrtting on sat after CNY

his school is far from my house and he needs more than 1hr to get home everyday from school. i do pity him at times…

Yes, do agree :hi5: that seems that our 2002 kids are starting to get busier and busier 😓

Oh, your boy needs an hour travelling from school to home; he must be tired everyday :snooze: :snooze:

to think that they only in P4...how about next year and next next year? :faint:

              jedamum,
It will not be any better or it could be worse. I can't imagine it.

Just wondering is the supplementary lessons for all P4 classes in your DD/DS’s school? To cover syllabus unable to complete during curriculum time…Or to cover additional worksheets…Or is it only for the "Top" 1 or 2 classes so as to maximise their potential?

I agreed with you. During my DS1's primary school time, I recalled the busy schedule and additional homework only started in P5. And their age gap is only 4 years. 🤷

                      Hi Tresille :snuggles: :hugs:
I have e-mailed to ask about the syllabus or contents for the supplementary classes to both FT (teaching EL & Maths) and Science T. Both have replied (same message) to wait for the letter that will be given out to parents later and it will have the explanation for it 🤷
