Dear Parents
Has anyone heard of Power Enrichment at Toa Payoh? From the flyers, it seems like most students does really improve after going for 1 term or so. Anyone has any views to share on this? Thanks. -

i think that its also better to look for an established coaching system that is has its public website, place…etc.
i think its a bit odd to send a PM msg when any qualified coach should be public about its svcs , esp when dealing with children etc… so yup! just take note! -
Hi Mummytwo,

I’m looking for experienced Maths tutor for my son who is proceeding to P3 next year. Either 1-to-1 or small groups is fine.
Do let me know if you have any recommendations? Thanks a lot! -
You can try Young Wordsmith. http://www.wordsmith.com.sg/english
I was just sharing with another parent in another thread. I was looking for an English enrichment programme and I stumbled upon Young Wordsmith. I spoke with the instructor, who seems really passionate about English, and said that as part of the programme, they will do a face-to-face assessment with my kids to identify their weaknesses before classes.
I also like the fact that they will cover general knowledge and current affairs in their course instead of just technical aspects of writing. I find that kids sometimes can't write because they don't know what to write or can't write logically, rather than because their English is poor.
