      Hi Cheerful07,

My child attended both Hougang and transferred to Bishan.

I feel that Hougang is better. The setup is smaller thus, the teachers care to even talk and feedback to parents about the child’s progress.

Bishan centre is much bigger. My experience is that it’s done as a business. When I approached the teacher of how I could help improve my child, her response is "to read the textbook more times". Perhaps that’s true. However, the attitude was kind of "don’t come bother me".

I’m not sure about the both centres now as teachers come and go. It really depends on your luck to get a caring teacher.

                Hi micollh

Berries Hougang is not very near to Hougang Central (will take estimate around 15-20min walk). It will be good if you can go down to take a look at the school and access the distance yourself... Their classes are usually full, be it weekend or weekday... You can try calling them in the late afternoon or in the evening. I normally don't have problem reaching them on the phone:)

That is a very new centre, I suppose kids who tried out will not see results yet...

What level is your kid? There are 2 branches in the HOugang branch. Those pre-primary will most likely study @ the hdb block while the primary school at Punggol CC. Both centres are quite near to MRT as in \"walking distance\". But you must exit from the right exit.
