MGS! It has almost 50% of the cohort attained 7 distinctions or more for those who sat for 2011 O level.

What is the purpose of this list?

I am glad that MOE has done away with ranking of schools because each school has its pros and cons and should be evaluated on which is best suited for your child.

Aside from that, Penn88n has mentioned those that are generally and historically academically stronger.

What a long list. You should cut it down to top 20 Sec schools. Most of them are IP, SAP & band 1& 2 schools.

Anglican high school will make it to the list of top schools too. Check out their website. There is an upcoming talk on their talent development Programme by the principal on 13 October. http://www.anglicanhigh.moe.edu.sg/
