I somehow get the same feeling with my MIL. Sometimes she calls home n find that I m at home, then she will ask: oh, how come today u r not working? ( I m doing freelance work).so at home n not working means no pay.

Men are always on the way to money and success. And it's not typical woman doing more for family. Every respected man should make more money then his wife.
