All About Health Insurance

Here is the website for the comparison...
Almost all insurance companies have more or less comparable shield plans as all approved by CPF. What matters to me most is the claiming history of the company. GE reimbursed my claims so far promptly and without having to re-access the criteria to claim.

Perhaps you might like to check... That the limits are not Lifetime limits but Annual Policy Limits.
Do u need to pay anything for the hospital stay? I have a shield plan with NTUC Incomeshield and a premier care plan with AXA. That premier care plan got no deductible and co-insurance. Wonder if it is sufficient that I just get a good shield plan.
Huge difference it makes when it comes to how much can be claimed. The former has a lower total amount. The latter has a larger amount of limit as each renewal resets the limits to maximum.
IMHO, the shield plans are very competitive, and it is the fine details that differ, which a good FC can tell you the difference. Then one has just to choose what you are most concerned about.
Perhaps one should also choose wisely from the start... Here is some experience to share...
If you bought a shield plan from company X, and over the years it is renewed. Newer updated shield plans become better and limits are higher to keep up with the times. When you want to upgrade, and if you have developed any condition... Switching companies is a no-no as you get Exclusions.
However, upgrading with the same company will allow an exclusion of that particular condition (and its related conditions) in the upgraded plan... BUT the difference is that the conditions is not excluded and falls under the limits of the older shield plan.
Hope at is clear enough... Basically, choose wisely from the start. -

Hi All
I have some doubt in insurance claim. Hope someone advise. Thanks in advance.
I have bought Pink Of Heatlh (for those bill that less SGD 1500) and AIA HealthShield (for those bill that more than SGD 2K). Recently has submitted the claim and received letter from AIA informed us due to medical bill less than SGD 2k, therefore unclaimable but there was a deductiable amount from the Life Time Limited in the HealthShield.
My question is, Iβm submitted the claim under Pink Of Health and had received the daily income, why there is deductible from HealthShield Life Time limited. Donβt is it two difference policy? My agent told me it will be Auto deducted from HealthShield first, if unclaimable then will be claim under Pink Of Health. Is that true? I dont feel is right, if the claim not under HealthShield why AIA deducted the Life Time Limited ?
Hope someone can advise. Tks -

Elderflower, I PMed you based on your earlier questions and queries.
Switching companies and plans can be affected by One's preexisting condition or the newly developed conditions. -
Which health insurance is good provided I am ok to pay extra premium by cash. Meaning can go pte hospital anytime & the bill is always $0.
Looking at AIA, GE, Avivia & Prudential. I guess if use CPF those co-insurance & deductible is more or less the same.
Anyone manage to find the excel sheet? -
