It is true but i guess they are just black sheeps of the tutor community as i am sure there are tutors out there who will be willing to put aside own time for their tutees when it comes to exam period. yes, we are at the mercy of this situation as the subject to be tutored is today’s CA’s paper!

i am stepping into hometutoring too and am also mentally preparing myself for your situation. had told my boy that he'll need to do constant and own revision and tutor is not to spoon feed him, but more for clarifications and better interactions (language tutor, so we treat it as 1.5hrs worth of verbal oral practice every session
)
looks like we parents still have to make up for such gaps, but i want to see it as a form of semi-independent learning on the kid's part.... :oops: trying to keep an optimistic view ah.

well parents play the utmost important part in the child's education in any and every sense. so its great that you parents are willing to do as much as time allow

jedamum, yes, education is nowadays both ways (teacher/parent), we
can engage tutor to assist them but we are responsible for our own children eventually. :roll: -
