look on the bright side...it's good for it to surface during CA1...since it's science, it could be some misconception or maybe she failed to look out for some keywords.
Runs thru the mistakes and test (not formally) her understanding of the topic again.
Must have faith since she ever did well before!!! -

My personal experience is wait awhile to ride out the emotions. Because when emotional we pass on the stress and disappointments to the kid. She probably is feeling it by herself. When you have build up ur strength then its time for cold claculated analysis and analyze. There maybe no magic cure , but you two together will overcome. 24-hr mum… yeah… it’s a Mommy thing. We always think we’re lousy Moms. Maybe that’s what keeps us trying to be better. Those who think they’re already very good, may actually be very bad and never know it. Kekekekekeke!

:hugs: If it's any comfort, I also blamed myself for not enriching him earlier. I had the mistaken conception that tuition was shameful and only for dumb-dumbs. Nowadays tuition is cool beyond cool ... and NECESSARY. Once you realize this, the way forward is clear.
(1) Your DD is not dumb. She is tested beyond what she is taught.
(2) You need to level the playing field for her.
Take heart. She is only in P4. PSLE is 3 years away. You have time. -

Maybe the attitude is to ignore others and just look at the child’s work and find out how to help -
