$6000 a month is equivalent to a middle income earner. Or equivalent to $1500/subject. That’s scary!

Look, some people earn $200 per hour and not per day 😂

          You are soo right, Mawar.

I followed the article and read about the narcissism epidemic in USA. It’s so true. Parenting is about balancing between extremes - and teaching our children to take a balanced view of life. What values are these parents passing on?

$6k per month works out to be $72k per year. Multiply that by 6 years, it will be ~$430k. With this kind of money I can sponsor the average / above average kid to go abroad for a degree, as long as his results are not that bad, and the uni won’t be that lousy either. Why bother to slog like this - what can the kid get out of this type of "spoon-feeding"?

This is what i call "slogging for life". This is absolutely nuts! I can’t imagine what the child will turns out to. Lack of creativity? Book smart? Or worse turns wild when break free from parents.

Anyone want me to do their kids' homework? I can handwrite it too. Got discount. Only $150 per hour 😄

Used this article to tell my son that if he can do well in his studies, this is a lucruative part time job for uni students. 😉

if u decide to employ your expensive and new \"high flyer\" maid from the other maid thread  , then u must take on a lot of homework assignments to pay for his housework assignments. :rotflmao:

                        😉
