This is what i call "slogging for life". This is absolutely nuts! I can’t imagine what the child will turns out to. Lack of creativity? Book smart? Or worse turns wild when break free from parents.

Used this article to tell my son that if he can do well in his studies, this is a lucruative part time job for uni students. πŸ˜‰

if u decide to employ your expensive and new \"high flyer\" maid from the other maid thread  , then u must take on a lot of homework assignments to pay for his housework assignments. :rotflmao:

Such a lucrative job ? I don't mind copying but not doing the homework.
I read of the 2 tier tutor article...getting 2nd tutor to coach kids for first tutor's hw.

For my younger kid in p2, she will have to do all the hw herself. When older one was in p4, his hw workload was crazy, so we all helped him with coloring, art, finding meanings of words from newspaper etc etc. prob is can't help him to re-copy compo. Teacher doesn't allow typing.

If I hire that maid I will hire him as a tutor! I think he'll make a lot of money as a tutor. Maybe i can convince him to let me be his agent for a low commission. πŸ˜„

We actually did do DS’ homework for him last year a few times. His SA1 papers were so difficult and his homework was so easy from WITHIN the level. There was so much easy homework that he had no time to practise the difficult sums from BEYOND the level.

My greatest fear now is that this will happen in secondary school too… where homework is easy and tests test BEYOND what is taught. If that is so, the child NEEDS the enrichment, and someone to do the EASY homework.

Please somebody… tell me this is NOT happening with your kids in secondary school?

$6000 a month is equivalent to a middle income earner. Or equivalent to $1500/subject. That's scary!

Look, some people earn $200 per hour and not per day πŸ˜‚

What job got $200/hr? I want to work.
