How come the choices have all boys school and all girls school? Means must change sex if the preferred choice is the other sex?

Go for PV if u r sure of SCGS. U got to know e school in advance & build rapport with the teachers. Get to see how they interact with kids. There r lot more commitment as GRL -
i think PV easier, bec clock hour by hour get the job done! Is a matter of getting the task done. But limit to one school.

I will go for grassroots. If your kid is diligent and bright, you no need build rapport with others, people will automatically come to build rapport with you. And the school activities and programs are well communicated over their website. As for grassroots, you are serving the community and It will give you wider insights. You know about national issues and able to bring up issues fr discussion. It all depends on what role you want to play eg. Active role or inactive. Doing pv you are dealing with kids so need patience and must have passion. Anyway it is up to you. -

Your wife is in the km grassroots but can you confirm that your wife will 100% get the letter to register for p1 under phase 2b?
If your wife is not able to get letter, then better pv. -
yes, can get as she is in the exco early this year so it will be more than 12 months before next June’s registration.
We have a girl (5) and boy (3), so GRL is the wiser choice since the boy can go into ACS as well although we are staying within 1km, but applying 2B is probably better unless they change the whole system.
anyways, thanks for the feedback! -
I stay within 1 km if scgs (near pinetree club) am going for phase 2c. I would like to know what are the second choice schools u r considering for your girls? Seems like there are no other co-Ed or girls Sch in this vicinity? I think we are not within 2 km of st margaret’s pri.

Other Schools that are girls school or co-ed along BT road and Dunearn would be Nanyang, RGPS, MGS , PeiHwa and Bukit Timah Primary. These may not be <2km and for the popular ones, may not have a chance in P2C if > 2 km. How about River Valley? Is it nearer?

you can use this, check which schools around your vicinity.
type in your postal code address:-
http://www.elite.com.sg/
schools appearing within BLUE zone Circle: < 1 km
schools appearing within RED zone Circle: 1 to 2 km
