Retest scores don't count. It's the main ones that gets recorded. Impt thing is to take it as a lesson learnt n move forward and bounce back. -

But the teacher said the scores would count for at least a bit.Ichigokun:

Yea I’m quite sure retest scores count towards the actual score… but the final score can only reach a maximum of 50% (of the total marks)…
Ichigokun: Perhaps you didn’t do well enough in the retest such that your final score would be affected… I’m not sure how they calculate though… lols… but yea jyss! -

Yes, that's what the teacher explained to me. Which means if you get 50% as your MR1 score for Geography retest, you quite likely got 100marks. Bc the maximum you can be given is 50 for re-test. But in reality - it's a percentage of the re-test marks and a percentage of the earlier test marks. She didn't tell me what the proportion is. -
According to my ds, if passed the retest, the maximum marks is only 50% of the maximum possible, which will be recorded. Eg. 70/100 - will get 50/100, 55/100 - also get 50/100. If 40/100 - will still get 40/100.
If failed the retest, whichever score (first test or retest) is higher, that will be recorded into the report book instead. -
