Hi all,
Term 1 holidays seems to flew by. I am quite kan chiong abt my girl SA1 already. Her school din have CA1 but gave them a Maths practice paper to practice. She make so many mistakes (most of the time she din read carefully, jumping into the answer) that she would have scored 60/100 if it is real test...
She also score 60+% for her chinese mock test cos we only have enough time to run through those new chinese characters (at the expense of ignoring Maths/Science). We do not enough time on comprehsnion, cloze passages and pairing of sentences.
I had hoped to do some Chinese Comprehension work with her during the holidays and end up not having enough time.
I am very stressed now of how to revise effectively from Mid March to end Apr so that she will be adequately prepared. When should I let her do those school's papers? Time seems so little esp when she have therapies, art class, sunday class and English tuition. :nailbite: -

my ex-colleague swears by it...guess it is good to prep them to finish the long exam paper at one go...she tends to lose concentration when she is tired. (jumping into conclusions)

You guys are getting me worried.
I am still happily cruising
along. Time to come back down to earth issit?
Frankly speaking, unable to have a good feel of how DD is doing. Her results of all her mini tests reads like a roller coaster, for all subjects. One moment full marks next moment, average or even below class average in some papers.
Maybe should get her to do some past year school CA1 papers to just to have a feel of where she is hor. Ok :xedfingers: that she is doing alright. -
My P3 DS's mid year timetable was out before term break.. ... Staring at the 'Science Practical Exam' part really .. .. :faint:
