      Hi mummies,

I know i sound rather silly but if my husband went to ACS Independent for his secondary education does that mean that i can register my son into ACS (Junior) under the phase where parents are ex students? I know i sound really foolish but this P1 registration is beginning to confuse and drain me.

I saw from quite a number of forum threads. So far the answer is no.

          Hi iamamommy,

Nope, your son won't qualify under Phase 2A. Only those whose fathers studied at ACS (Junior) can qualify under 2A. This is because they are different schools.

          Hope this helps!

CAn anyone advised what's the order for the Primary 4 (2012) in ACS junior? Is 4-8 the best class followed by 4-7, 4-6 then 4-5? thanks!

No, 4.7 is the best class (Thobum class), 4.5,4.6,4.8 are high ability class.

Hi I am looking for a student care for my son. 2 options

                      - Kiddiewinkie at Cairnhill
                      - ACS Primary

Any feedback or comments on these 2 places?

Your situation seems similar to mine.

I am registering my son for P1 and I need student care for him.

I went to take a look at Kiddiewinkie at Cairnhill at around 2pm to 3pm to see the going-ons and I am satisfied that they did pick up the children at ACSJ with assistance of 2 staff, ferry them by mini buses (I saw 2 mini buses), brought safely to Kiddiewinkie where a staff gave some instructions like P3 to bath and change up first, P1 and P2 to eat first ....

The majority of students at Kiddiewinkie appears to be from ACSJ, with a some from SJI. And it's a mostly boys environment.

I was told, that besides getting the boys to complete their homework (which is very little or none for ACSJ P1 and P2), some enrichment programmes are provided too.

I felt comfortable sending my son there and will register once I have sucessfulyl registered him for P1 at ACSJ.

                        Hope this helps.
