For me, I would use 腰肉 or 五花肉. But, the best person to ask is your regular butcher. 😄

Thanks to the Straits Times report, I tried the Fu Shi (Shunfu) char siew and roasted duck. The duck is definitely the most flavourful one I have tasted so far. The char siew is also very good. I am certainly going back. 🙂

I live so near and yet never tried this. It's just next to the famous Hakka delights selling the soon kueh and yam cake. Long queues during the weekends.

You want to share your recipe??

Or you are looking for $2m for it? 😉

Can be more specific where this Fu Shi is??
I'm also near there but never know about it....

Sure… it is in Shunfu Market and Food Centre along Shunfu Road. You can turn into Shunfu Road from Marymount Road. The food centre is on level 2. Ample parking available at the multi-storey carpark.

You can also find the famous Shunfu muffins (Choc n Spice) there.

So, a visit to Shunfu Mart should not leave out the following:
                    - Choc n Spice Muffins
                    - Fu Shi roasted duck and char siew
                    - Meizhen Hakka soon kueh
                    - Lai Heng char kway teow (from westlake market)

I queued half hr for the roast duck n char siew. Char siew is so so for me. My children find the duck flavourful. I don't eat duck unfortunately. Dh like the soon kuey next stall.

Have yet to try the char kway teow. What is their opening times?
