For me I put one each in my living room, master bedroom, and kids room. I can also move the camera as and when I want, as long as there's powerpoint will do, it function on wireless. You can mount to wall if you want, the mount is provided but for me i prefer to just leave it on the table and i can easily remove it when I don't need maid next time.
the screen can view 9 camera maximum, is very convenient to monitor my house using these cameras.

            A few questions

            1) is it big? Wouldn’t it look unsightly?
            2) won’t the maid just switch off the power?
            3) how’s electricity consumption?

It is not big, I find it quite stylish 🙂 U visited the blog i given above? got picture there, is very popular in USA.

Yes, can be switched off easily, but if she switched off I would know right, so far she only help me to on it every morning, never switched it off.
Sometimes i would talk using the camera, e.g. when she going out I would tell her to switch off the fan, she might thought I'm watching her all the time but actually not, I just say it few times to let her know I am watching her. Now I set alarm to the camera in my MBR and only watched other cameras when my kids are back home.

the consumption is quite low i think, so far I on monday to friday 8am to 8pm, some weekends when i'm out, no difference to the bill before and after.

Can people see the camera moving when you adjust the angle outside?

Yes, the camera will tilt left right or up down when u adjust the angle from Iphone or internet.
Can also set patrolling mode where the camera will tilt left right or up down by itself

I actually thought of this idea before when my kid was only an infant but I just didn't have the time to set it up and forgot about it. Now that my daughter's already 4 yrs old and I have the most trustworthy, alert, fast maid (she's somewhat a friend of MIL and was highly recommended) , I don't see the need for it.

I treat my maid with the utmost respect and care. We even let her travel with us when we went to Hong Kong.

i was just wondering, my maid has been with us for about 2-3months. have been thinking of installing a spy cam since the time before she started. But so far so good. Is it too late or weird to install now?

I would think an IP camera will be better instead of spy cam. Coz the camera is to inform her that you're watching her so she will not do funny stuff when u not around, spy cam is more suitable if u suspect she already done and will be doing something bad that you want to get evidence.

My maid is with me 6 mths, recently only i install the cameras, i told her the cameras are for me to monitor my kids, and i told her where are the cameras so if she wants privacy or change clothes she'll go toilet or kitchen.

So far she's ok with the cameras, she also help me to on the cameras every morning without me telling her. Sometimes she not sure wat ingredients to use for cooking she'll show me over the camera, very useful to both of us.
