Hello All, Need to consult this Chinese word:-


给予 - it should be read as ji(2) yu(3) or gei(3) yu(3)?

DD1 said the word came out in her Chinese oral yesterday and she read it as gei(3) yu(3)! :roll:

I think it should be read as 给予 – (jǐ yǔ)

you might want to try asking her to do fill in the blank first for a start.

once she got it right, you may want to change the words to be filled in and ask her try.
