      Hi HAPPYH,

      need your kind advice.
my DD1 has recently complaining about her eye-sight being blurr sometimes. During her annual health check-up she was advised to go and visit eye doctor/optrician.

just wanted to know how to get appointment at SNEC? Is it convenient to go to the place via MRT since I don't drive?

I am planning to book appointment once you advise me and go there may be next week or so (or whenever get the appointment).

If you go private, most probably you can get the appointment this week itself.

      Hi HAPPH,
Thank you for the advise. I will try to call them up first thing tomorrow morning.
I will just go a private as I do not want to delay the appointment much further.

Have a great day ahead šŸ™‚

Thanks, can you share the contact of Just Eyes and the optometrist you are seeing?

          Tks.
the owner of Just Eyes is Kenny. there is an optometrist who comes in only once a week, she is Ling. As for kenny i m not sure he is optician or optometrist but he does eye chks too and he is the one who make the glasses. this shop was recommended by my frd whose girl wore specs from p3 n now sec 4 but managed to stabilise at 300 when prior to Just Eyes her degree rose exponentially.

my elder gal power also did not increase so fast since p1 so i trusted him

they just moved from suntec to international plaza #02-50

            24hr mum,

Is your gal wearing myovision lens or juz normal lens since she managed to stabilised her eye power. Hers was myopia nt astig rite?

I also told my ds only to put on glasses when looking at distant object lk watching tv, copyg from whiteboard in sch and etc. Doing hmwork, reading and playing handheld game, he will remove them. Haiz! now have to spend extra time resting eyes every hr. Btw, i'll b also tryg out out the pinhole glasses, hopefully it helps.

im in dilemma now if to let my dd2 (k1) to wear glassess. her eye power is 200 each eye. as parents, hubby and myself hv experienced that since childhood, our eye power constantly go up at every eye review.

my dd2 seems ok with everyday activities without the glassess, but of cos i also worry that it will do her worse without the glassess.

                      herbie,

Glad to hear your son degree did not go up after using myovision. Im still monitoring my ds degree, now stil v low, on normal lens. Our optician ask us to go back for check 3mths later, if theres an big increment, we can try myovision to control it. So im keeping my fingers cross.

Anyone can share their experience, if its necessary to remove glasses when doing near work and only putting on when looking far for the case of myopia. After reading thru this forum, i realised some recommend to put on glasses at all time and some say when necessary....???? Im at a loss.. :frustrated:

If the kids is on myovision lens, does it mean the glasses can be put on all the time, since its suitable for near work too?

                        Tia
