Son’s teachers used other lessons to teach core subject…provided they are same teachers teaching. For eg, his Chinese teacher may also teach social studies. My son’s teacher used Science subject lessons to teach Math…it’s been like this for the past few weeks. Son misses Science.


A big relief - the oral exams are over today…can move on to prepare for compo next. I’ve observed that many parents do not cook during exam period. Even my mum said supermarket is empty as families eat out and rush home. Quite true bcos cooking does require preparation and washing up.

Parents/tutors cater to the individual [/quote]in many circumstances, the math teacher and the science teacher is the same teacher ... probably the teacher had considered that Math is more urgent overall for the class and if any student need attention in science - can still approach the teacher separately

Yup, science is a core subject too…and that is a subject which is hard to score. Maths is a ‘practice’ subject…but science requires technique.

Actually, these 4 subjects are not easy…especially language papers. Fail English, and that means fail everything. Don’t understand English means don’t understand maths and science.

My son managed to get gold award in SMOPS, does this means he get chance to go in to HCI through DSA? Any tips for apply DSA? thanks.
