Most of the new school's structures are already up & they look pretty impressive . The whole area looks hugh but packed with many blocks of building. The school has shown some pictures of the new premise to the students and my ds said the toilets look like 'hotel standard' with nice taps & marble tiles (I think it should be marble look alike tiles).

Understand there is a ballot going on for school start hrs next yr2013 when all will move. Any confirmation on the start hrs yet? 8am?

Any parents with kids staying more than 2km away from school?
Can feedback on the school bus fetching time from your house?

[Layla]

Really? Ballot for change in hours? That's interesting. But that would mean ending school later?

[lim72]

Yes, that is what I think so. If its going to start at 8am, I guess it needs to end at 2pm. That means our kids will laterally have their miserable & unhealthy meals in schools everyday! So sad!

[Layla]

but i haven’t seen any "ballot" yet?

[babyJC]

I am more afraid of seeing the "rush hour" syndrome. Can you imagine all levels come before school time?

It was on the school's homepage last year. Not sure if its still there.

Looking for interesting activities to occupy the kids during June holidays. Can share what are some of your plans? Also, anyone keen on Science Discovery Camps? A group of 5 registering together will 10% off.
