hi,chloecube:
hihi,
other than application, anyone tried oral pill ?
i am taking the SATO Vit B and whitening C pill now, just started a week.
hope to see result soon.
i am also taking the colleagen drinks.
i have combi skin and break out when my period comes or stress over work.
are collagen drinks effective in making skin radiant and gd? i'm taking Brand's Prune Essence currently. so far, my skin improved abit but not sure cos of tis or from e products i used.
i am not to sure either, just tried out for a week
i will feedback again in a month time
was rather depress this 2 weeks as my face suddnely broke out, could be due to stress. then i read in some of the forum saying Hakubi sato is good. so i just try them out
i had tried Prune essence before too, but find it too sweet for me
took one box and stop before i can see result
does it really help in ur skin? how long u see the effect? -

Nope. But my skin is not the oily type. In fact I need more hydration.
Not oily?MummyThreeStreams:
I use tonnes of sunblock everyday and reapply at least once a day! I use Cetaphil SPF50. I sometimes use BB cream, but I will apply sunblock under the BB cream even though the BB cream is SPF 15 coz I don't think the BB cream is effective in blocking the sun.
I use Cetaphil products mixed with SKII and estee lauder's Advanced Night Repair. -

My skin is not fair...that's why I HAVE to use sunblock!! Too much sun damage in my youth...now I tell my younger friends. No need to buy serum. Spend your money on sunblock. Prevention is better than cure!!!
wow, do u have very fair skin?MummyThreeStreams:

Do you ladies apply the toner via a soaked through cotton wool? Or just piak the toner onto the face (think skii commercial)?
-
few drops on my hand and pat onto the face. likewise for all skincare pdts eg moisturiser etc. never like cotton wool feeling on face.
-
For SKII facial essence, I donโt use cotton woolโฆ I always felt that it is a waste when all the stuff are absorb in the cotton rather than on the face.
Skincare for me is :
* Acnes facial foam. I like mandom as well. They are cheap and effective. I get lesser/ no outbreak with such facial foam
* SKII facial essence - every time after I wash my face. Min twice a day
* SKII whitening source derm on my pigmentation. An alternative for me is ROC whiteming cream. It seems to have the same active ingredients and hence effective
* Neutrogena moisturiser
Weekends for me is makeup free. Just facial essence, whitening source and moisturiser. Lipstick is a must for me. -

it is pointless to take oral collagen as the molecules are too big to be absorbed by the body.
But i do read that some vested companies, (selling collagen supplements) do state otherwise.
However, i personally have tried taking oral collagen ( powder and pills form) found no effect on me.
