ya, tis essence is rather sweet. i'm not sure but my skin is less oily now. maybe, 2 weeks? but i dunno its cos of drinkin tis or cos of e products i use.
i am not to sure either, just tried out for a week
i will feedback again in a month time
was rather depress this 2 weeks as my face suddnely broke out, could be due to stress. then i read in some of the forum saying Hakubi sato is good. so i just try them out
i had tried Prune essence before too, but find it too sweet for me
took one box and stop before i can see result
does it really help in ur skin? how long u see the effect? -
MMM:
yup, i guess to completely remove it will be thru laser
It only lightens but it does not remove pigmentation. I believe this is the case for all over the counter products.chloecube:
Hi MMM,
recently i notice more of the pigment is showing on my cheek, i am thinking of buying SKII whitening source derm (the silver glass bottle), does it works?
i thought of asking for review before buying as it is rather pricey
thks
thks, i will get a bottle to try. -

not sure those actress spokeswoman really use this facial essence or not...Actually, I realised that I've been using facial essence for at least 6 years already. No crystal clear skin like those actresses or korean ladies who really invest time in their beauty regime.
But one observation is that yes... I think I've grown fairer. The obsession for asian women. It's funny as during school hols we brought the kids to the pool. I would avoid the sun on my face.... So my body got \"burnt\" except the face. Just imagine fair face + a tanned body.... Abit strange huh.
ya, my face also turns slightly fairer after starting to use for a few months.. fair face is good cos people usually see face first then body :rotflmao: -

My skin is not fair...that's why I HAVE to use sunblock!! Too much sun damage in my youth...now I tell my younger friends. No need to buy serum. Spend your money on sunblock. Prevention is better than cure!!!
so is ur face fairer now? next time i will ask my DD to use sunblock to prevent dull and dark skin too :boogie: -
northernstar:
Dunno leh, I didn't do before and after photos. But sun block doesn't make u fairer. It helps to prevent sun damage (pigmentation, freckles, skin cancer), but can't undo the damage already done to your skin. I will live with whatever (thankfully few) freckles I have, with the knowledge that the rate at which I will develop new ones has been considerably reduced.MummyThreeStreams:

Unfortunately for sunscreen to be effective they need that physical layercoz otherwise nothing to block the sun with. You can try using BB cream or powder over the sunscreen to reduce the white/oily feel.
Some sunscreen very oily looking on my skin, others look white after apply on skin, make me look like a ghost. -
i think the best thing to do to delay/prevent sun damage to our face and neck these days is to wear a hat.
taka has some nice big hats and hopefully we can start a trend. -

autumnbronze:
That's the Korean hot favourite - it is foundation load with \"skincare\" ingredients. So, it is basically a cosmetic with skincare properties. Very popular in Korean and this region once the word started spreading around.Errrrrrrr, sorry ladies!!

There are foundation (cream) with anti-aging / whitening / pore tightening / moisturizing, etc. Many different types with many different functions. You can check up online.
