Ferrari crash

I agree with you. I believe I would probably behave in the same manner in such condition.........we are all just human. To some extent, I pity the wife. She is not the one to be blamed for what happened. Her husband is an ADULT, he is responsible for his own behaviour, not her........While my heart goes out to the cabby and the jap passenger, I think the wife of the Ferrari driver deserves some compassion too. We can sit on our high horses and say that she should do this and that as we are not the ones dealing with the very sudden death of our husbands and also their possible infidelity. She will have to face a future of bringing up a young kid and giving birth to another all by herself. The younger one will not even know his/her father. Rich or not, local or not, this is not an easy time for her either. She is human too.
If in her shoes, I know I will definitely want to know who the hell is that woman who was with my husband. I will be reeling with shock. I will be wondering what to do, how to go on now that I am alone. What about my kids. I will be furious with my stupid husband for putting us in that position. The last thing I will be thinking about will be the victims. Maybe when I have had time to process all these then will I start to think about the victims' family.
An irresponsible person is simply irresponsible.... regardless of nationality. -

Totally agree. Right now she is a victim as well. While my heart goes out to the cabby and the jap passenger, I think the wife of the Ferrari driver deserves some compassion too. Hubby cheated her- her self worth would be shattered.
He has left her so suddenly, its going to be a tough ride for her too.
She will not even have pleasent last memories of him.
The mess her hubby left her in...
I would say she has to take care of herself first before she can take care of others. Hope she has the courage to undo some of the pain her husband caused. -

should pay from his estate right.. before it is passed to his family depending on whatever the will states, if any.In cases where the culprits are alive, they are penalised/fined/made to pay damages.
So in cases where culprits died (eg. this Ferrari case).....what happens? Can the court order the family to pay damages on behalf?
victims should sue. -

LTA shd require all cars (except SPF, hospitals, SCDF vehicles etc…) to have a speed limiter. Ferrari or not, max speed 110km/h.
SG is not that big, no need so high speed. -

he and his family are not PRs nor citizens here but have been staying for about 3 years, will that affect the claim or not ? :?

Sometimes we can be very careful and safe drivers but if our surrounding drivers are reckless - accidents will still bound to occur.
Like what my mum says 可能注定那天要交 IC ! -

http://sg.news.yahoo.com/ferrari-driver-in-horrific-rochor-crash-cremated.htmlThe real monster got off easy in this life.
His loved ones are victims too. They must still be in shock and grieving. Give them a break.
Hopefully, they will do what is right once they sort themselves out.
