yes, and that too. Guess it's a bit like buying insurance.

This is one of the reasons I no longer accept foreigners as tenants. I have had my fair share of bad experience with them.


My last 3 tenants (all Singaporean families) have been wonderful. They do not think about how to make a run. One family actually left my property in a better shape than it was when they took it over.

Our tenant was a British family. Definitely tenants from hell. Gave her hr and agent Lots of problems. we don’t deal with her.


Luckily it was corporate lease. Heard that her agent and co workers pop champagne when they left…Kekekeke.

my previous tenant was very good, a Scottish lady, decorated the place so nice that the buyer decided on the spot to buy it without bargaining … but the tenant lost the place to stay after that …

Went to meet my tenant for handover this evening. Sad to say, the condition of the apt was not good. The curtains were not send for dry clean, final air-con service not done, flooring blur with stain marks. Even though he has arranged someone to do the cleaning today, it was not cleaned properly. The toilet shower walls has got black algae…very heart pain.


Have never come across such a bad and irresponsible tenant in our many dealings with our other tenants. This is the first time, really bad luck!

fair amount of wear and tear is expected, and dirt is expected too

don't expect it to be as clean as an owner would upkeep it to be

at least they did not rip off the lightings and flooring .....

For small claims, you may try Small Claims Tribunal at the subordinate court with a small fees. Don’t need to get lawyers.
