MHA wldn’t be too smart to lose proven gud officers, esp with new PS n Minister at d helm, wld they?....

Such logic is true only in commercial world. Nobody would not want to lose a top sales/marketing guy. However, it may not be true in civil service. Nothing to do with Minister or PS, they are too far away. May even chose not to know. It also depends on the definition of good. What is good in logical sense may not be good in political sense.

Ever heard of promoting someone sotong so that he will not be a threat to you. Or removing someone smart so that he will not outshine you. In my younger days I don't believe such art of war was actually being prasticed until my own boss warned me before his retirement. He actually advised me to act sotong if necessary and not to cross the line. If need to kill must remember to remove the roots and no one should know. It is sickening.

Totally agreed. Saw it with my own eyes. Jealousy also plays a part. If they are jealous of you, your colleagues will even sabo you and make life difficult for you. I have colleagues who ganged up on me, telling lies and making them come true e.g. telling boss that I was not cooperative and could not work in a team while withholding info from me so that I didn't know what was happening. When I told my boss that I was not informed, their reply was \"for me to know for you to find out\" :faint: However, I always believe that my duty is to be a good christian and leave everything to God. \"Revenge is mine and I will repay, said the Lord\" One of them was so guilty stricken that when I left she cried and asked for forgiveness cos \"she didn't know that what she did was hurtful\". My reply was \"I can forgive you but can you forgive yourself?\"

If all d high level civil servants n Ministers also think n behave liddat,
then jialat liao, SG is doomed.
Shouldn't d guiding principle be to do wat is gud n right?
When all d heros who wld stand up to be counted r slaughtered,
then those left behind without a guiding light n voice deserves to rot.

          and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

          Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.\"

it was a good thing that someone bought us the MRT in the past.. althou it was unfortunate how it was managed at present..

it was a good thing that, someone, who believed the workers were being exploited, sanctioned a strike.. The union did what a union is supposed to do.. to protect the welfare of the workers. Nowadays.. some union provides all kind of member \"benefits\", like cheap chalets, discount coupons.... but often do away with Collective Agreements and the things that truly protects a worker's welfare....

Most probably ah Gay’s own wife exposed the affair after she gathered enough evidence.

After rebuking the affair, instead of being remorseful, Gay challenged the wife.

Being childless, no need to think about TLL, TAS and all sort of enrichment programmes, his wife prepared to let go everything to bring down this man’s reputation.

The saddest person is Gay’s mum. Raising the son eventually fell off in the hands of women. Luckily, last time, education no need to invest so much. This guy could be top PSLE student and 9 straight A1s in O level. At that time there was no GEP or IP schools.

If the Gay husband is an idiot at home, treats wife badly...and she is capable, why not blow the whistle on him? Nothing to lose.
Sad for the mum...what to do? Son is the one who never think of consequences. So be prepared to lose everything bcos of a woman.
If the wife really blew the whistle, she must be very pissed off.

How can it be Gay's wife exposed the affair? This ex-CNB chief's wife appeared in court with him and show the whole world that she is standing by him and even told reporter that she believed in him.

another guessing possibility is .... Ah Gay's wife can't tahan / tolerate anymore, started to confide in somebody whom she trust. (can be a close friend or relative) It is emotionally very painful for any married woman to stomach all these.

But this somebody can't keep secret. Accidentally leak out secret to someone else (\"Shhhhhh .... i tell you something promise me you keep to yourself, don't tell other people, ok ? \") Then news begin to spread like fire, from A to B to C to D ... eventually into the ears of Gay's enemies .... waiting eagerly for a chance to pounce on his weakness - who quickly seize advantage of situation, someone influential enough to blow whistle loudly create public attention blow up matter, shame CS publicly.

Being childless for some time, there is also a huge gaping hole in their married life. Each go about doing their daily life activities. Nothing to bond them together. eg: fetch child for enrichment lesson(s).

                    however, refer to News quote:-
\"CS thinks she has done nothing wrong. She felt she had done no wrong.\"

                    2 possibility:-

                    i) if CS \"felt she had done no wrong\", and if is indeed true that she had been wrongly / falsely accused - then whoever blow whistle loud loud owe her a public apology. Must apologize to her in public, for hurting her reputation.

ii) however if what they published about her is true, then she shouldn't have done all these. After all, she is the wife of someone else, plus the fact that she is a mother of a young kid to that someone else. She is accountable to both husband and child. Now the child still small. But when the child grow up one day, the child will question her, \"Mum, why did you do these ... that hurt Dad & I ?\"

now the case is still pending investigation.

40 years ago, even if the son is one of the top PSLE scorers (that time no GEP yet), his mother can't see so far down the road ... what's going to happen to her son when he reach aged around 46 ?

pondering upon this ... perhaps from a young tender age, those of us who have sons, we mothers start educate our sons from young about the danger of women. Can tell them or let them read about many real \"live\" stories of how a number of top brillant people' career had been destroyed .... either by lust initiated by themselves, or by women who lure them in. So that when they grow up, they don't fall or walk into the same trap.

QUOTE: Ng, 46, allegedly obtained sexual gratification on four occasions from Sue between June 2011 and December 2011.UNQUOTE

could be another possibility, CS being fresh divorcee with young child, was looking another man. She might want a deeper relationship with Gay such as divorcing his current wife. Could be the young boy adored Gay and bugging him to be his new ‘daddy’.

CS could be bugging him, appearing in front of his colleagues, calling Gay’s cellphone in the middle of the night. Macam ‘Fatal Attraction’ show.

It is just an internal problem between 2 women.
