Gosh ! That's a waste of time, isn't it ? May as well stay at home and revise the concepts or do practice paper !
Yah lor. My P5 DD oso, told to go back for holiday classes but teacher brought them to comp lab to play games. Of course she happily announce to me that xx teacher so gd... & btw, the games are anything the kid chooses, nothing educational abt it.
It really depends on the teacher. Some of her other subj teachers do give them serious stuff to do.

This is the last week of school holidays. Plan to give my dd a full 2 days of play starting from Friday night to Sunday before school re-opens.

Just keeping my fingers :xedfingers: and šŸ™ cos I can imagine what is the pace going to be like when 25th June comes... šŸ˜“ :nailbite:

Everyone ... 加油!加油! and more 加油! :nunchuk: :stompfeet:

This extra holiday classes were made compulsory for students but I why is it not the other way round for teachers? DS teacher was/will be absent (for 3 days) & the substitute teacher ask them to 'do anything u like'. Haiz.

His other subject teachers were ok though, letting them do / go thru practice papers with them.
Son attended the extra class for CL...he and classmate met up one Sun to get project done and supposed to present. Teacher didn't even turn up :slapshead: it was tough enuf to meet up with tuition this June...how can this happen? Wasted his 4 1/2 hours that morn

            Give me a 5.
I plan to give son time to relax too...I dare not imagine what teachers will do in term 3 :nailbite: Since there isn't any tuition today, I made him check whether there is school hw still uncompleted. This boy has a habit of dropping bombshells the night b4 school reopens.

Whether I want June holidays to be over or NOT, I have to face up to it. PSLE will be right in my face in less than 100 days...I didn't count, my tutor did.
This 1 month passed faster than I thought. I'm panicking like crazy. Cannot 'jia you' either bcos my heart will be pounding faster. That son of mine doesn't seem to know that he is facing PSLE in SEP 2012...actually earlier than that. Orals in Aug.

Mine too is slow motion. Panicking like Janet and Mayl but I guess there is nothing I can do. Is there?

Those thoughts of PSLE leaves me with sleepless nights.

Are you serious? I have one kid that had gone thru it. I remember in second half of year, the teachers did all the necessary revision, I was quite free. Just had to encourage him. You must try to relax or your anxiety will make him very stress, also not good for your health.

Mine is slow slow motion...i see him so relaxed and bo chap. But I am kancheong and worried. It's the saying that 'emperor is not panicking but eunuchs are'.
I wanted to compile some science notes (he is weak in adaptation topic), but when I opened the book, I couldn't go on. So what I can do is make him take lots of fluids, like juices, barley to stay hydrated. I lost steam where his subjects are concerned...purely focusing on younger one in p2.
