as far as I know, P1 kids are emplaced to classes based on their phases of entry. During P2 parents dialogue session earlier this year, the teachers actually informed that the students will be streamed at the end of P2. This was further reinforced at the recent meet-the-parents session.
-
Yes, P1 are allocated to classes based on the phases of entry, however all the "better" pupils in Phase 1 are in one class; and all there "better" in phase2 are in another class, and so onโฆ

Try Tien Hsia. They do follow school syllabus. Choose a school that suits her pace so that she could follow. Interest in the subject is also very important. Consider enrol her into a Chinese speech & drama class & let her watch some Chinese programs.
Berries also cannot help? oh dear ... :sad:babycutie71:
I guess should be same class. I get my girl to finish copying the 2 compos before revising English with her.
Immeemee, my girl is attending Berries but it don't seems to help her much. Hence, I paced with her hw.
Since yr girl's chinese foundation is not good, it is advisable to consider other source of additional learning so that she can catch up. -
Amy mummies with p1 kids in chongfu? What's the hw load like?
I'm registering phase 2C.

Hi, Iโm new here. My girl will be in P1 next year. Is it really must cut short hair and must be above collar? Any ECA for P1?
-
Girls can keep long hair for purpose of dancing such as ballet, chinese dance etc. Else, they will have to keep short hair above shoulder. There are no CCA for P1. They have interest groups weekly. Examples are wushu, dancing, in-line skate etc. hope that helps.

-
Thanks for the info. My girl is currently not in any ballet or whatsoever dance club. Can she still keeps her long hair till she takes up one of the interest groups in school then?
-
She will have to come to school with short hair since she is not in any dance club. So far, this is the school "rules". Do be prepared for it.

Oh no ๎

Immediately sign her up for ballet class at any dance school & get a letter from that school. You may continue with the same dance school next year or join the school ballet class. Just get a CCA form from the school on orientation day & submit the application form on the first day of school.
