      Hi

From the MOE website, for Henry Park, it states that vacancy for Phase 2A1 is 150, & I see that number of children registered is 52, does this mean that for the rest of the phases after 2A1, availability is now only at 98? Am i interpreting this correctly?

      Please advise. Thank you

        Yes, balance 98 for Phases 2A2, 2B & 2C.

          98 is for phase 2a2.

Whatever balance after phase 2a2 will then be split equally between 2b and 2c.

            Hi Chief and fellow members,

Appreciate if you could help me with yr advice.

I will register my son in Fairfield under 2c and I am within 1km. However, looking at the current statistic my chances might be lesser than 50%.
If I cannot get in under 2c I am looking at Clementi pri or Qifa pri. Can help to adv which school is better and what are my chances for these 2 schools?

            Thank you:)
Normally, Clementi PS will be fill up during P2C so left only Qifa PS

I printed out the immunisation cert from the MOE website. It shows only one type of immunisation is not recorded, that is MMR2. Does any one has the same issue like me? What must I do? Must it be all showed recorded or just produce the the health book which showed all the injections taken.[/quote]

Don’t worry…MMR2 is a new jab for children.
They will take it school during primary one.
All children will be immunize by primary 1.
Schools will have nurses coming to school where
The children will Queue up to take their jab.

                Scary:
If you are out of 1km of the school, pls call up the school and check in the afternoon of the last day of registration. Heard for SJI Jnr last yr, at the 11th hr, a few parents within 1km registered and caused those 1-2km to have 0 chance in balloting. The school had to quickly call this group of parents. Some didn't have a chance to react as they didn't expect to receive a call from school last min!

Yes, very scary. Everyone took this tactic of registering at the last minute. I experienced this last year where some parents staying within 1 km registered at the last hour caused us (out of the 1km range) to go into ballot. A lot of parents after they have registered, stayed in the school to watch the first hand result and count the number parents walking in to see the chances they stand.

Thank you all for the info.

Now, nanyang has 135 vacanies left. Are there any comparison in terms of numbers for last year? Am wondering if there is a possibility of ballot in 2B?

The only thing is although this yr SC got so called priority it still doesn't give SC full priority over those PRs in phase 2B since they admit based on phases, or even those PRs in 2A2 or 2A1. :stompfeet:
It's the first time MOE is trying out this system. From the results and the following hoo-haa/mess-ups/complains/explanations, it will be tuned for subsequent years. All the best to you.
