Does anyone know when Geylang Methodist Primary School & Kong Hwa School is going to turn single session?
-
Geylang methodist is unlikely due to space constraints but Kong Hwa planned to do it for next yr

For Geylang Methodist, I received the memo from the school that they are planning to go into single session..But i forget about the year already.

What I understand from the school memo is that the school (gmps) will eventually convert to single session. An upgrading project is in process. Seems like they have planned to have an additional new building and indoor sports hall. As for when exactly they will convert to single session, I have no idea. Maybe you can call up the school and check. Previously, I heard from a staff that the school has reduced their intake since last year (not sure the exact year) as they are working towards single session. That's why they are not able to take in the same number of students as previously.AprilGirl:

Hi Hi
I'm need some advice.. start to worry and panic only now when other parents are acting years back
I intend to register my boy (2008) to Kong Hwa but I am not staying near. My mum is staying within 1km from there. I have just joined Hokkien Huey Kuan 2 months ago.
Since it is sure to be balloting for 2B and 2C , what is my chance of getting into Kong Hwa
1) 2B under Huey Kuan -> I will be under > 2km (does it mean no chance at all?)
2) 2C under my mum address -> I will be between 1km to 2km ? (chance slim too?)
If I register my boy in the neighbourhood school near my place, I have to think of his meal before school, how to fetch him to and from school, what if I need to OT, etc etc... Headache ...
Pls advise -
