It is not? OIC! Thanks for the link too!DesertWind:
Andersen very competitive. If not < 1 km hardly got the chance. May I know why is this school so hot. Is it because it is fully affiliated all the way to JC and/or PSLE scores high?
Anderson Pri is not affiliated to Anderson Sec nor Anderson JC. These are all govt schools just using a similar name but no affiliation.

I also dun understand. But think they got overall improvement for psle last year. My ds is there now. Acad wise nothing much. No stress. CCA also not many choices. So far no outing or learning journeys. I saw other schools have loads of it.
Actually if have girls, can consider Marymount. I think it’s not bad. -
My 2 DS in Anderson also. but they have learning journey every term. Airport, IMAX, Sentosa, Sungei Buloh. P5 gg to The Float for the NDP preview this Sat. Heard that the Green Club went Taiwan this yr. IT class went India last yr and this yr. They have some students from China this week as exchange…

Wah, for those un-popular schools, really swat mosquitoes during the earlier phases!
I mean, besides the P1 siblings phase, no alumni association to speak of hence n.a for P2A1, then P2A2, also hardly any action. P2B even more no need to say, ie. no PV nor connections. So wait until P2C and P2C (supp). -

Thanks mashy, for me Andersen is a bit hopeless already because I am > 2 km and did not PV. Checking out the other schools around the area.Desert wind

I think most schools dont have much stress for P1 & P2 as I have check with friends from St Nicks and they say not much homework for P1 & P2. But once P3 starts, I think all the schools starts to load on the homework.

So how many seats St Nick’s left after today?

I compared the amount of work st nicks have with Anderson, a lot more in st nicks. Enough to have marks for mid yr report book. Anderson doesn’t even have mid year report book. Spelling are also a lot more difficult. Anderson p1 spelling is simpler than k2 spelling.
