spikey:
Oh ya, got confused with the available seats and applicants
Yup - MGS down by 7, not 10. I was one of those balloting for DD. It was 39 balloting for 35 seats. Expect to have more this year because of MGS Pri's stellar PSLE performance, number of new condos in the area and the spill over effect from PHPPS. -
any latest updates on Nanyang Pri?
-
any latest updates on RGPS?
-
My fren told me this is the status at RGPS at 10am today:
13 SC registered under 2B, 4 within 1km, 9 outside 2km
1 PR registered, under 1km
This is v few considering RGPS has 41 places for 2B. Perhaps more PVs are coming in the afternoon session. GRLs still adopting wait and see attitude. -

Hi, what time is the registration? the afternoon slot for nanyang primary?
should be the same across all schs
Registration at Primary School
Registration is conducted at the primary school that you wish your child to be admitted into. The hours of registration are from 8.00 am to 11.00 am and from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm on each scheduled registration day. Parents or a person authorized by the parents in writing (letter of authorization (72kb .pdf)) is to submit the registration form and required documents at the school of choice.
From the 2012 P1 Registration Exercise onwards, when balloting is necessary in a specific phase, Singapore Citizens (SCs) will be given absolute priority over Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs). SCs and PRs will continue to be eligible for the same phases, and all applicants will be admitted if the total number of applications in any phase does not exceed the number of vacancies. However, if the number of applications exceeds the number of vacancies in a specific phase, SCs will be admitted first ahead of PRs, before home-school distance is considered.
