Hi
Anyone parents registering in any of the 3 new primary schools in Sengkang? I missed the open house in early July.
Any comments on the school? May need them as backup if i failed 2C.
Thanks. -

Two new Sengkang primary schools actually - Palm View Primary school and Sengkang Green Primary school. Not much comments on these two schools though went for the seminar at North Spring in early July. The principal designate of Palm View - Clifford Chua knows his stuff well during the seminar.Hi

I guess you are going for one of the two popular schools here? Rivervale or Nan Chiau?
Anybody here going for Sengkang primary school? Anybody know what is their average score for past PSLE results in last two years? I see that they have several students that made to very good schools last year and Principal Rabia was very confident and knew her stuff well that I am tempted to go for that school this coming Monday-Tuesday.
By the way, Phase 2c Internet System registration starts today with several Sengkang primary schools participating too and one of them was Nan Chiau. -

No, am not gg for the 2 popular schs u mentioned.
Most likely gg for Anchor Green but then I am within 1 to 2km which may require balloting. Thus looking for backup plans.
There are 3 new schools in SK. Another one is Springdale.
Having sleepless nights over this P1 registration. Sigh.. -

Understand your worries as some here for me though the school I am looking at is within 1 km.
The worst scenario is to be posted to one of these new schools which the facilities are new and maybe better attention can be given to the students as since they need to prove their records for the next following years too.

Generally all three principals presented well; all seems to be passionate educators. You can look thru their websites to evaluate the profiles of the principals, the curriculum they offer, distance, accessibility etc...Hi

Some friends tell me new schools are worth considering because facilities are new & moe sends good principals with good records to pioneer these schools. One thing worth mentioning is that these principals in their presentation did say that they only take in experienced teachers.
My personal preference - palmview & sengkang green.
