      Hi All,

Just a check for online registeration, I saw the date and time is
      \"Phase 2C
Starting from 9.00 am on 27 July 2012 to 4.30 pm on 31 July 2012.\" on MOE website. Thought it's \"30 July 2012 to 1 August 2012\" inclusive of 1st Aug??
      Confused.
      Anyone can throw some lights?

Online registration is on 27 July. Physical registration at the school is from 30 July to 1 Aug. Hope it explains.

        Hi,

For those who have gone through the registration, can you advise roughly how long is the whole process?
Basically the registration process by itself is very fast - just need to fill up a simple one-page registration form (kid's and parents' particulars), submit to the school personnel who will check through the supporting documents, enter into the system and that's it. But depending on the number of parents queuing in front of you, the speed of the school personnel, the time take depends - from 10 minutes up to 1-2 hours.

          Hi i desperately need advice.

I am leaving within 1 km from POI CHING and St HIlda's school. need advice if i would stand a chance to get a place in St Hilda as my first choice..but worried it may not get in and i lose my chance in Poi Ching as well under phase 2c this coming monday

          So confused. Please help

You may find the Tampines school past years balloting history info here for your study before taking the decision
          http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/tampines

Vacancy Left in Y2012 registration Phase 2C for both school ()
          Poi Ching (97)
          St Hilda (42)

If you are staying within 1km to both school, your chances seems to be better for Poh Ching logically speaking

Thanks for your advice. Seem like should go for Poi Ching and forget about St Hilda. šŸ˜ž

I stay two blocks away from St Hilda and I have registered my kid in my wife's old school instead. I don't like to gamble with my kid's future.

My point is, P1 registration is only the beginning. Be it school A or school B, if you are going to subject your kids to tonnes of tuition and enrichment classes, why clamour so much hope on the choice of school when it is only going to be six years of residency?

I heard that one has to be in the RC for at least two years to be granted the letter for 2B registration, is it true?

About there but there are more things to note. You may refer to this thread http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=420&start=1780 for more info.

Im also deciding between Pei Tong, Qifa or Clementi.

Mummies, how do you make your choice? Registration for 2C next week and Im still aimless of where to enroll my DD...
I used to stay in West Coast. I think Clementi Pri is the second most popular school in Clementi.

It seems to be, however, I haven't heard anyone able to share why is clementi primary more popular/better than Qifa or Pei Tong?
