It's the same story... China A team wins... China B (sg and other countries) loses...
Now China A team also invade swimming Liao.... :faint:
Oh... Feng TW's bronze medal match is tonight? Still got hope then... -
DH and I were watching women's table tennis last night, Ding Vs Feng. DH supported Ding (can you believe it  ) while I supported Feng. The tension got so high at one stage that both of us agreed to switch to gymnastics on Okto :rotflmao: . It was a relief and a treat to watch these fantastic gymnasts.
Anyway, I think Feng has put up a good fight. -
I still prefer to watch the fabulous gymnasts.

The placement of the flags of China and Korea both winning silver in swimming was atrocious. First time I see two silver awards, but one flag on top of the other instead of side-by-side.
Ye wins another Gold, and despite the test results confirm nil doping, media presses on on doping. Distasteful foreign media. Cao A_g M_! -

Oh, sorry, think it was Channel U, not Okto. Actually, we also didn't get to watch all the gymnasts - the gymnasts do their routines at the various stations and the TV only showed their pick..

Ye Shiwen wins gold again; breaks another world record
YE SHIWENJULY 31, 2012BY: JODI JILL
Ye Shiwen might only be a 16-year-old, but she is a world champion as she won gold Tuesday in the women's 200-meter individual medley. This is her second gold win at the games and fans are taking a good look at one of the fastest swimmers in the competition.
Watch caught the attention of the world first was her time and win of the 400m individual medley where she beat the world record by a second on Saturday. Then she followed up with that win doing it again with the 200-meter. While the youngster is definitely delighted, controversy is plaguing her as people are questioning how she can move so fast in the water.
Born in eastern Chinese city of Hangzhou, Ye began swimming at the age of six. Her teacher noticed she had large hands and feet and suggested swimming. After winning several swimming competitions at the age of 10 her coach predicted that she would be an Olympic champion.
In the water today the Olympic medal winner had the chance to embrace her win while the rest of the world watched. Since there is nothing more than rumors floating around, she needs to enjoy her moment as she earned it.

Her superlative performances within a brief frame of time do warrant special attention.

However, till there is a positive test result, agree dat d insinuations fr d Western press is distasteful. -
\"Australia's Stephanie Rice broke quick and led after 50 meters, but Ye overtook her in the backstroke. U.S. swimmer Caitlin Leverenz dominated the breaststroke, though, putting Ye far enough back to force her to storm back in the final 50 meters of freestyle.\"

Her strength is obviously in the freestyle. If she had been doping, she would have conquered the pool. -

FTW put up a gud fight, but Ning had dat something extra.
At d end, I was glad SG taxpayers potentially saved at least $250 big ones. :rotflmao: -

\"Olympic organisers warned that if there were drug cheats at London 2012 ‘they will be caught’ while Chinese team officials point out Miss Ye had been repeatedly tested and never failed a test.\"
\"The Chinese athletes, including the swimmers, have undergone nearly 100 drug tests since they arrived [in London]. Many were also tested by the international federations and the British anti-doping agency. I can tell you that so far there was not a single positive case.\"
