12 weeks

Definitely no stallion...ex-P received 9 weeks. Shaw received 12 weeks. Is this the result of taking a longer time to plead guilty or bcos of showing there is justice that the rich do not get away?

He did not plead guilty. He claimed trial.

A longer sentence is to be expected.
Not necessary. Remember Dr Woffles Wu's car speeding case. He only paid $10000 & escaped from jail term. These are the rich people with lot of contact. Some of them even get to rub shoulders with the ministers. Life is never fair!

Our society is getting more & more complicated. With so many corruption & sex scandals & most of these people are from top schools. A good example is the NUS law student. Don't just focus on IQ, moral values are equally important too. Can't imagine she used her own body to exchange for good grade. Disgusting!

I guess last time also like this, just that there was no internet, perhaps even more rampant, not reported, and no internet vigilante ..... office adultery, EMA between school staff etc were not unheard of .....

Not a fair statement dat 'most of these people are from top schools'.
Not dat other ppl don't screw.
Just dat they arouse greater interest when caught,
Dat NUS law girl arh, eyes a bit cocked.
FOC service & she make it up with expensive gifts. :rotflmao:

dis Prof also not a gentleman.
She oredi hinted for an A, not once but twice, when he gazed down upon her in her inverted 'A' position in bed.
Still only give her a B. :rotflmao:

Shaw didnt claim trial too. He pleaded guilty and given a 12-weeks sentence. They are appealing against he sentencing I think.

Still feel for these men. I do believe that the punishment is too harsh.

An analogy. If salmon fish is going to extinct and there is an international ban of buying salmon less than 1kg in size. I go to the market and saw one salmon on sale. I asked the fishmonger and he assured me that the fish is more than 1kg. Looking at the size, it does look like 1kg.

I bought it and got caught. The officer weighed it and found it to be 995g and I am now faced with a fine. I told the officer that the fishmonger said it is above 1kg but he chided me for not asking the fishmonger to weigh it infront of me to confirm it is indeed above 1kg.

Fair?

even if she got only a B and not A, it is still corruption.
why ?

because if she didn't offer sex, means she could have got worse result than a B grade: maybe a C, D or even F ?

Agree on ur first sentence.
How u can u be sure of d second part?
If her record shows she was consistently getting gud grades in her law course,
n she made d Dean's List in her first year at NUS, then we cannot make dat conjecture.
Wat we can however say in dis case with Dr Tey is
after she got F, she received a B. :rotflmao:
