Hi, I would like to check with parents with kids currently in P3. As there are CA and SA exams, do they still have topical tests on a weekly basis that contributes to the overall weightage? Means these tests are not just for practice but are counted towards total weightage for the year. Thanks.

For P3, there is no CA exams. They will only have SA exams nearer to the end of the semester. Which is around Oct, end of semester 2.

There are no more topical tests on a weekly basis that adds to the overall weightage. Haven't been hearing schools doing that already.

Oh, I thought P3 has CA1 & CA2 test/exam as I have heard parents talking about it. Since no CA, why isn't there topical tests? P1 & P2 have topical tests as they don't have CA & SA except SA2 exam (first exam since P1) for P2. The weightage is high at 40% of the whole year.

CA is only for P5 & P6, marks will be recorded in the report book. Whereas P3 & P4 will only have term tests, marks will not be recorded in the report book. SA1 weightage is 40% & SA2 weightage is 60%. P1 & P2 will have their mastery tests & P2 will also having SA2.

Hi parents of nan chiau pri students, my gal finally got into Nan Chiau Pri school after the balloting this morning. After the anxiety and excitement and happiness, next comes task of getting student care centres and school bus. Both Polaris Junior and Morning star are full. Can anyone share the bus operator contact so I can explore bus ferrying to and fro pasir ris to my parents in law’s hse? Much appreciated in advance.

:congrats: Welcome to the NC family!

You can refer to NC's website for the bus operator's info - School Information -> School Vendor Information. Cheers!

Welcome your girl to Nan Chiau. The school might have a childcare centre within it's premise when it's upgrading has completed. You can confirm with the school. You can contact the bus operator at 9107 3066 (Shirley)

Thanks, blue belt and brown belt for your info. I called operator and she say there is a route for pasir ris. Confirmed with school that there is no in house student care centre.

Can I check if there are CCA for P1s so far?
