      2007parents:

I have both DD and DS born in 2007, not twins but different month.
if i registered them for P1, will the school take them in as 1 group, same as twins?
I suggest you clarify from MOE as soon as possible. It may take them one whole year to decide. Don't want to leave it to the last minute then panic. If it were me, I would argue that they should be treated the same as twins.

        hi all, first time posting.

I have a peculiar case here.

If so, will I get 4 ballot tickets or 2 tickets?

According to my colleague who has two girls born in February and December of the same year, MOE treats them as 2 separate applications, cannot be considered as a combined application like twins. They registered this year.

it will be a lot of logistics involved if one gets in and the other don't....

reporting... ๐Ÿ™‚ Currently staying within 1km of 3pri sch. One branded, the other one not too bad raves and another it's a girls' pri sch. Got 2 kids one boy and one girl... my son is born in 2007. Thus planning to choose the other not so bad rave pri sch for him and my girl. ๐Ÿ™‚ Planning to skip the brand name one. ๐Ÿ™‚ Now already doing PV at the pri sch. ๐Ÿ™‚ I think the kids would love the school. ๐Ÿ™‚ It's NAPS. ๐Ÿ™‚

              the 3 schools you hint:-
              i)
this year, Ngee Ann primary enter 2C Supp with last 4 seats.
but come next year, Ngee Ann most likely full house, by end of 2C.

(more babies born in 2007, compared to 2006) + an unknown number of newly converted SCs pouring in.

              ii)
Tao Nan (branded school) is famous for balloting < 1 km, from historical trend.

              iii)
              CHIJ Katong Convent -
PRs still manage to get in, by Phase 2C - including those > 2km. No balloting involved this year.

Haig Girls primary - getting more & more popular now.

When there's more babies born. MOE very likely to increase vacancies for some of the schools. I believe there will be some more new rulings to further enhance the chances of sc next yr.

๐Ÿ™‚ ya..agree with phtthp. that's y to be on the safe side, I'm currently doing PV already in NAPS. So I should be in phase 2B within 1 km then. ๐Ÿ™‚

Introducing myselfโ€ฆ I am a mom of 2007-born triplets (2 girls + 1 boy) currently living in Canada but hoping to move to SIN by next spring. We are Canadians and will only qualify for the Phase 3, even though I am an โ€˜old girlโ€™ of FMSS.

As I have been away from Singapore for quite a while, I hope some of you can help me with my queries:
                    1. Any suggestions of co-ed school I should look into? Preferably around Telok Kurau area, where my sisters live.
                    2. Is there any co-ed Catholic schools (we are Catholic)?

Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

as your 3 children are Canadian (foreigner), they will enrol under Phase 3.
Phase 1 and 2 apply to Singapore citizenship kids and PR.

No Catholic co-ed school in Telok Kurau.
Few Catholic schools around Telok Kurau.
the Catholic schools in Bedok, Geylang are:-
                      St Stephen - for boys,
CHIJ Katong Covent, St Anthony Cannosian and Cannosa Convent - for girls.

if refer this year (2013) results, by end of Phase 2C :-
schools like St Stephen, CHIJ Katong Convent and St Anthony Cannosian - were grabbed and snapped up fast by SC and PR, FULL house.

for 2C Supp - which Catholic schools still have vacancies ?
                      i) for boys

Montfort Junior in Hougang - 99 seats left
St Gabriel in Serangoon - 18 seats left

                      ii) for girls

CHIJ Our Lady Queen of Peace in Bukit Panjang - 20 seats left
Cannosa Convent in Geylang - 39 seats left
Marymount Convent in Toa Payoh / Bradell - 24 seats left

even then, these may be snapped up fast by SC/ PR entering Phase 2C Supp.
