      Hi mummies,

Anyone has a good dentist to recommend for my 3 year old boy? It’s going to be his first experience. And I really hope it will be a pleasant one.

      Any recommendation is much appreciated!

The best child (pediatric) dentist I have ever met and used for both my kids is Dr Tan Wee Kiat, a senior consultant at the National Dental Centre Singapore.

She saved my DS tooth at age 7, when another dentist said had to remove.

          All the best!

When should a child start seeing a dentist? I so scared to send my DD to one. :yikes:

You can look for Dr Rashid of The Kid Dentist located at the Camden Medical centre. He is good in dealing little kids. Both my kids are with him since 4 years till now ( already P1 & P3).

Dr Boy in Q&M dental, City Square Mall. Very good dentist for both kids and grownups.

Thanks LOLMum, struggling, chubby08 and karenmok for the recommendations!

I will go look them up! I have heard of some horror stories about Q&M though. Might just give them a miss.

                  Thanks anyway!

                    No prob.

You can see Dr Tan’s profile ( she’s a lady) through the local health app ’ Health Buddy’. I downloaded to my iPhone and found it’s got lots if useful info,… I’m turning into a health freak!

Tried Dr Rashid before and I don’t like him as i find him arrogant. His clinic decor is very child friendly and I guess this is something that will entice the kids. And of course theres a picture , he with ex Minister George Yeo and he hanged it on the wall… but I was not impressed at all lor.
